The Club is situated in Kennel Lane close to The Field of Remembrance and is ideally placed for villagers to walk to the Club to enjoy the facilities. Established in 1879 as a Club and Reading Room as an alternative meeting place to the local public houses for the working man. How times have moved on!

Adoption of the Accounts for Year Ending
31st January 2023
At your Club’s 2023 AGM held on 21st February 2024, Members present agreed to defer adoption of the provisional Accounts for the year ended 31st January 2023 until they were finalised, and the Hon. Auditor had issued his Audit Certificate. These events have now occurred.

Tennis Courts
The tennis courts are available for anyone to use. Court 1 can be reserved up to a week in advance Click here to download our tennis court rules. Price: £6 per hour (minimum of £3 for half an hour and limited to 3 hours play time)
